The Nigerian automobile industry is all set for tomorrow as the 10th edition of the Lagos Motor Fair kicks off at the federal Palace Hotel, Ahmadu Bellow Way, Victoria island, Lagos.
This is the flagship platform for the exhibition of automotive brands and ancillary services and has held consistently for the past 10 years.
As usual, the best brands, models, offers, original spare parts and financials will be on display from tomorrow, 30th April all the way to the 6th of May, 2015.
Then in the evening, the highly anticipated Nigerian Transport Awards will take place at the Sheraton Hotel, Mobolaji Johnson Road, Ikeja, Lagos.
The Awards Lecture for this year will be delivered by the Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Mr. Ibrahim Abdulsalam.
The NTA, according to Mr. Frank Kintum, the Managing Editor, Transport Day Newspaper is “the Award meant to recognize players (companies and individuals) in the Nigerian Transport Industry, covering all modes of transportation”.
The award is packaged by Transport Day Newspaper, a monthly publication in print since 2006, backed by journalists, transport analysts and communications experts and is being supported by the Nigeria Transport Round Table, a pressure group in the Nigerian transport circles as well as some media houses.
He further added that “the award is an annual event which will also serve as a meeting point for captains of industries cutting across all modes of transport-Road, Rail, Maritime, Aviation as well as Logistics to interact amongst themselves and with players in the public sector”.
