Car makers affected are Volkswagen who lost thousands of Beetles, Touaregs and Ups; Renault who lost Koleos imported from South Korea and Land Rover who also lost thousands of Discoveries. Equally, Hyundai lost about 4.000 cars made up of high-end Equus and Genesis models.

Destroyed Land Rover Discoveries.

Tianjin is roughly 75 miles away from the capital Beijing and is the major port city for northwest China.

Thousands of Renault Koleos.
Thousands of Touaregs

Poor Beetles.

I really pity these car makers for this great loss and also commiserate with the Chinese people and all others affected with this.

May the car’s rest in eternal automotive peace.
