Sports has been described as an essential part of the school co-curricular activities designed to cater for the physical well being of students and one which invariably teaches the life lesson of competition.
Acting Commissioner for Transportation, Prince Olanrewaju Elegushi stated this at the Annual Inter-House Sport competition organized by Caleb British International School in Lagos held over the weekend.

According to him, sports unleash talents and are a veritable training plank for a successful life. He added that hunting for and discovery of valuable talents are the essence of the sports competition within the school system.
Elegushi argued that sports men today are potentially rich when they come full circle on the international scene and singularly activities that unite and binds people with various language together.
In the same vein, Elegushi urged corporate entities and individuals present at the event to forget their troubles and differences as they watch the students and participants at the event.
He equally admonished the participants at the events to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship adding that there are lessons of life to be learnt and similar attributes to be picked by the participants in the competition.
The Commissioner congratulates the organizer of the event in particular the Principal of the school, Mrs. Olumesa Linda, House Masters, Directors and members of the Organizing Committee for a successful outing.
