Aston Martin has recalled all the Aston Martin Vantage worldwide over transmission software failure.

The famous James Bond cars recalled are up to 1658 cars manufactured between June 2010 and September 2013 that are equipped with either the Sportshift I or Sportshift II automated manual gearboxes.
According to Reuters, the affected Aston Martin Vantage was said to occasionally stall or completely loose power in some cases.
Aston Martin’s CEO Andy Palmer sent a team of engineers to China last month, where owners of the aforementioned sports cars had been complaining about them since 2014, only to discover that some local dealers failed to reset the clutch position after a software update to the automatic transmission system.
