Its no news that Land Rover did a remarkable job in the 2018 Range Rover plug in hybrid. Aside from being a plugin hybrid, Land River got so many features right, the specification amazing.

It has plenty of electric range which is said to use a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to an 8-speed automatic with an integrated electric motor. It has a 13KWh battery which could travel up to 13 miles on electric only.

The Range Rover plugin hybrid could save charge till when its needed. Unlike other electric cars which automatically chooses when to deploy electric car even when you wouldn’t want to drive on electric. However, the 2018 Range Rover avails you such opportunity.

Aside having plenty electric range, It’s the first 4X4 with electric drive in low range. Range Rover PHEV will allow off-roading on pure electric power in both grass/gravel/snow and mud/ruts modes which lacks in other 4X4 cars. The owners could typically raise the suspension when they prepare for a deep-water crossing.

It has a program that could navigate through the most fuel efficient route. That is to say it has predictive energy optimization which allows elevation changes in the navigation system.

The plug-in hybrid system hardware used on the Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport is nearly identical, but the engineers have tuned the systems differently. And that’s most noticeable, according to Land Rover, when the Range Rover Sport is in dynamic mode with the transmission in sport and the traction control turned off. That tells the vehicle you want it set up for optimum performance
