James Fowler, a 72 years old senior partner at a law firm in Orlando, has dragged a hotel in Florida to court after they allegedly gave his $300,000 Ferrari to a stranger.

According to report, Mr Fowler, parked his yellow 458 Italia Spider outside the Vinoy Renaissance Resort & Golf Club in St. Petersburg, Florida but the car was gone when he came out.

Fowler accused the hotel of gross negligence for the incident which happened last July.

Levi Miles, 28, walked by the Ferrari with Chloe Rimmer, 24, around midnight and told her the car was his. Miles then demanded the valet bring him the keys, telling him that the valet ticket was inside the car and he would bring it over later.

However, the duo were pulled over after 30 minutes for a broken tail light and erratic driving.

Miles told the police the car was his father’s but he borrowed it but the duo were arrested after the officers spotted cocaine in the car.
