German auto Industry Audi has recalled nothing less than 127,000 cars over possible emission cheat device.

According to reports, the affected cars includes Audi A4, A5, A6, A7, Q5, SQ5 and Q7 cars and the recall was made by the Federal Motor Transport Agency, or KBA,in Germany.

KBA was said to have detected an unacceptable shut-off decides” on several new V6 diesel engines which meet current EU6 emissions standards, thus prompting the recall.

This is coming barely a year after Audi parent company Volkswagen announced the end of its internal probe into emission scandal that hit the company in 2015.
