In the Geneva Motor Show last year 2017 the German manufacturer Mercedes-AMG presented a prototype to advance the lines of a future model, the Mercedes-AMG GT4 , or what is the same, the Mercedes-AMG GT with four-door body , Porsche Panamera style . This year the Affalterbach brand will use the same room to present the final version .
Although at the moment no details have been announced about this new model of the Mercedes-AMG GT family , we know that several units of the German supercar are already traveling roads around the world as part of the process of development and testing prior to the launch of the product final.
While Mercedes-AMG has not released pledges yet on its specifications, it is likely that the model has the well-known 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine from the GT family – and other AMG products -, which we recall in the prototype shown last year It was associated with an electric motor, thus achieving a hybrid propulsion system of 805 HP and first class performance.
So, there are several possibilities : from conventional variants with powers already familiar to this engine between the AMG products (between 476 and 612 HP, depending on model and version), or a hybrid option to compete directly with the aforementioned Panamera, which as you know account in its range with two hybrid options .
In any case, we will have to wait until the first week of March to be able to see the Mercedes-AMG GT4 naturally and know all the details about the model.
