It can be safely said that all petrol-heads miss the now distressed and rested BBC’s Topgear motoring program after the Jeremy Clarkson punching debacle. But it seems like the BBC has been working assidiously to ensure our darling program comes back on air as tells us in this report;
bosses are in advanced talks with prospective presenters, the Sunday Express can exclusively reveal. Its top choices are Life On Mars actor Philip Glenister, Classic Car Show’s Jodie Kidd and quirky Channel 4 presenter Guy Martin.

BBC2 is desperate to close the deal after Jeremy Clarkson was sacked and co-presenters James May and Richard Hammond decided against signing new contracts. The show’s co-creator Andy Wilman has also quit. However, it was Wilman who was overheard describing the new line-up while having lunch with Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay in Sussex.

It is thought the show will be back on TV next spring at the earliest.

I can’t wait for the new show to kick off. I hope these three bring back that vibe we got from the former three witty and sharp mouthed presenters.

But in all of these where is The Stig?
