The Crash that happened at Ojuelegba when an articulated trailer carrying a heavy container laden with cement seems to have been a wake-up call to all.

Information reaching us reveal that the Lagos State Government through the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transportation, Oluseyi Whenu recently had a meeting with relevant stakeholders in the transportation sector where they were told that they were no longer to ply Lagos roads between the hours of 6am to 9pm to help prevent crashes involving them.

Mr Whenu said this was to strictly enforce the Road Traffic Law which hitherto was being flouted by the drivers of these articulated vehicles. And henceforth, any such vehicle that goes contrary to this directive will face the full weight of the law.
