The Bentley Bentayga was launched with a statement that it is the fastest SUV in the world in terms of top speed.

But you know that in the auto industry, folks are not waiting and smiling.

TechArt has decided to pooh-pooh the Bentayga’s reign but brutally pumping up an already brutal SUV; the Porsche Cayenne.

Their new tuned Cayenne, with their TechArt TA058/T2 power kit will see a transformation of body and power to take the Cayenne to a different automobile stratosphere resulting in a jump from the regular Cayenne Turbo’s standard 519 PS and 750 Nm, 0-100km/h in 4.5 secs and top speed of 279km/h to 700HP and 920 Nm of torque, 0-100km/h in 3.9 secs and over 300km/h.

But all this power can be set to come in two stages so you can reserve some of the brawn till you need it and at the push of a button, all hell is let loose.

Carscoops reports that “the power delivery is set to two stages. Stage one gives you 640 HP during normal operation, whereas the full 700 HP are unleashed at the push of a ‘Sport’ button.

Just as impressive is the car’s 0-200 km/h (124 mph) sprint time of 13.8 seconds – which is what you’re looking for if you’re racing somebody on the drag strip (hopefully not the highway). As for 160 km/h (99 mph), that comes in just 9.1 seconds.

TechArt also say that despite the increase in power, fuel consumption and emissions have risen only slightly. We’re talking about a less than 1% bump in fuel economy and 0.8% more CO2 emissions, which means that “slightly” would indeed be a very correct term to use here”.
