Leading auto industry in terms of sales Volkswagen on Tuesday unveiled an all electric car which travels up to 311 miles on one charge.
According to reports, Volkswagen unveiled the electric car the I.D. Crozz, just before the Auto Show in Shanghai, China.
The I.D Crozz is a four door coupe with an SUV. It is a fully autonomous car with four laser scanners on the roof to detect obstacles. It also posseses a radar and ultrasonic sensors, and multiple cameras to aid the driving.

The car has a LED light on the roof and grill of the car to enable it communicate the mode the car is in (self driving or manual).
The I.D Crozz is powered by two electric motors at the front and rear axles, for a combined 225 kW (302 horsepower) and can travel at a speed of 180 kilometers and can cover a speed of 500 kilometers (311 miles) in one charge.
However the German auto industry said the car is a concept vehicle thus cannot be sold noting that the consumers version will soon be manufactured.
