The Nigerian Customs Services has intercepted hard drugs smuggled in car engines at Idiroko border, in Ogun state.
According to naijacarlovers, the Command recorded a total of 20 seizures, comprising 650 bags of rice, 10 vehicles and other prohibited items. 
The Public Relations Officer of the Command, Mr. A. Maiwada, speaking on the incident said the smugglers concealed the items in a car engine.
Maiwada added that the technique smugglers adopt to carry out their illicit act is alarming, as they use unhealthy and highly compromised ways of concealing edible and other items. 
The Ogun state command controller  Comptroller Sani Madugu, warned citizens to be law abiding and avoid illicit activities like smuggling to compromise the already recessed economy
