Rolls Royce has appointed Mihiar Ayoubi, a veteran at BMW at the head of his engineering department.
Mihiar Ayoubi, 50, replaces Philip Köhn who left the British manufacturer. Ayoubi started at BMW in 1997 where he was responsible for the development of manual transmissions, all-wheel drive and driver assistance systems .
After taking the leadership of the acoustic and vibration department at BMW in 2011. Like his predecessor at Rolls Royce, Mihiar Ayoubi became responsible for the concepts, architectures and integration within the German manufacturer .
As such, he participated in the design of the platform of the new Phantom . In other words, the British house is not totally unknown to him.
