Rumors about the upcoming arrival – probably in the context of the upcoming Geneva Motor Show , in March 2019 – of the future Polestar 2 are on the way.

The Polestar 1, a GT coupe, will undoubtedly have been the only hybrid in the history of the new brand, cousin of Volvo. Indeed, all the next models should be electric. Starting with the 2 that will directly target the Tesla Model 3.

This Polestar 2, according to the Englishman of Autocar, should directly derive from the concept Volvo 40.2 (see image of opening) which had been presented in parallel of the concept 40.1 whose version of series became the Volvo XC40.

However, the production car should have a distinctive style that distinguishes it from a Volvo.

This future Polestar 2 could develop up to 400 hp ( the 1 in 600 hp product ), offer a range of about 560 km and cost at least 34,000 euros .

It can be seen that this second Polestar should allow the brand to establish its presence as an electric premium brand.
