The BMW 2 Series Coupe appeared in 2014 in Japan as a successor to the previous “1 Series Coupe”.

With a compact sense of size, the body size of the 2 series is 4432 × full width 1774 × total height 1418 mm, wheel base 2690 mm.

It is designed 72 mm long, 26 mm wide, 5 mm shorter than the previous series 1 coupe.

Also, the wheel base extended 30 mm. For the current one-series hatchback, the total length is 108 mm longer.

The 2 series coupe was set up with two types of gasoline engine-equipped cars, and it was a lineup of “220i coupe” and high performance version “M235i coupe”.

The M235i coupe which M performance performed was equipped with a direct injection 3.0 liter in-line 6 cylinder turbo engine.

Maximum output 326 ps / 5800 – 6000 rpm, maximum torque 45.9 kgm / 1300 – 4500 rpm is generated.

Transmission had six speed MT and eight speed AT.
