Michael O’Leary, CEO of Ryanair, obtained a taxi license for his personal Mercedes-Benz S-Class years ago, in 2004.

This decision allowed him to legally drive in Dublin’s bus lanes, avoiding heavy traffic and ensuring a faster commute.
He did this so that he could drive his private taxi between his home in Mullingar and Ryanair’s headquarters at Dublin Airport.
He did this to exploit a legal loophole to save time and boost efficiency.
O’Leary’s resourceful approach to problem-solving, reflects the same principles that have helped him turn Ryanair into one of the most successful low-cost airlines in the world.
