The Joylong CNG-powered bus introduced by Coscharis Motors this week is poised to give great value for whatever money invested in its purchase.
This is a very well made bus from the stable of the Joylong brand and represented here in Nigeria by the well established Coscharis Motors.
The bus comes with features to make every trip, short or long a pleasurable and safe one.
The usual sour point on the lips of most people in this clime is mostly on the safety of the CNG gas use of the bus.
For this, the bus is equipped with 3 well fortified and standardized CNG gas cylinders that can withstand enormous pressure and are encased in extra strength steel cages located under the bus. This location also ensures that in the unlikely event of a gas leakage, the gas can easily dissipate into the atmosphere. But this is assuming that it can go past the solenoid and valves that regulate its exit from the cylinders.
Equally, as stated in an earlier post, the CNG gas can also be backed up by a 15 liter petrol tank to extend the range of the bus in the event of the bus running out of CNG gas. And this can be easily achieved just with the pressing of a button on the dashboard by the driver.
The bus comes with an android enabled radio system. It also has large LED lights to enhance illumination in the bus when needed especially in the dark.
The doors come with central lock to enhance security of the passengers and bus.
The bus also comes with a reverse camera and parking sensors to aid reversing the bus without issues.
It’s also equipped with trafficators in the side mirrors to easily indicate to other vehicles and road users of the intended path of the vehicle in traffic. This will reduce road incidents involving the bus while in operation.
Importantly, the suspension of the vehicle is capable of handling our peculiar market and roads when properly used.
It is also worth sharing that the seats are comfortable especially for the driver whose steering comes with adjustable capabilities and a remote control key fob for added security and ease of locking and unlocking the bus.
