In a cruel twist of fate, days later the car was ‘stolen’ and the case reported.

The investigation was strong enough that to evade discovery, the thieves buried the car under an undisclosed Los Angeles soil and sadly forgot the location.

Four years later, some children playing and digging up dirt accidentally discovered the buried car and it was dug up. And expert restorers rehabilitated it back to a pristine condition and the car was sold to a man named Brad Howard who registered it with a plate number reading “Dug Up”.

You wonder why this ending, this is because it was discovered that Rosendo orchestrated the robbery in the first case in order to defraud the insurance company unfortunately this landed him in a weighty and lengthy legal case.
