The project Director, Adrian Egonu also revealed that a comprehensive public safety technical alignment and supervision by the Lagos State Drivers Institute (LASDRI) and the Lagos State Safety Commission just recently took place on the proposed arena for the Grand Finale.
Advanced Anti-Cheat Security: PC & Laptop Mandate For October 17th
The Organizing Team has released critical technical parameters for the synchronized National Theory Online CBT Screening, locked for Saturday, October 17th, 2026, at 11:00 AM prompt.
To guarantee absolute institutional transparency, eliminate candidate identity fraud, and preserve the integrity of the tournament, the tech backend utilizes an advanced, proprietary anti-cheat code. Consequently, all candidates are strictly required to take the 20-minute, 40-question multiple-choice examination using a Personal Computer (PC) or Laptop with a functioning webcam and a fast and reliable internet connection.
Mobile smartphones and tablets will not be supported for the examination, as the security encryption protocols require desktop operating systems to monitor compliance.
Candidates nationwide are strongly urged to secure a laptop or PC workstation and a stable and fast internet for these mentioned devices ahead of next Saturday’s 11:00 AM exam.
Official LASDRI Training Module Fully Integrated
The Lagos State Drivers Institute, LASDRI has officially integrated its core professional driver training module directly into the challenge portal dashboard. Registered candidates now have free, unhindered digital access to state-vetted defensive driving guides, highway code manuals, and post-crash first aid parameters to prepare for the exam.
The Road to the State and National Winner’s Podium
The highest-scoring candidates from every active state will emerge as elite national finalists. They will be invited to Lagos this November 7th to 10th for the live practical track shootouts at the National Stadium, Surulere, to compete for the highly coveted Naija Driver 2026 crown. Great prizes are up for grabs for these state and national champions.
Registration and training remain 100% FREE for all male and female motorists between the ages of 18 and 65. The portal will close for registrations of new candidates precisely at midnight on October 16th ahead of the national exam.
